Automation Test Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Test Engineer to join one of our Healthcare and eCommerce partners. Your role will be responsible for improving the culture around testing, quality assurance & quality metrics in general. You will be familiar with the software development life cycle from start to finish, and are comfortable with defining test plans, scenarios and features (BDD and TDD).

Required Experience

Experience of driving Quality Assurance processes in an Agile environment.
Ability to design detailed test documentation (test plans, test cases, etc.).
Solid test automation skills (any platform and language – C#, Python, Java).
Understanding of how exploratory testing should be driven.
Challenging scope requirements.
Experience of configuring and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
Writing automated tests, using common test automation design patterns.
Understanding of how REST Web Services and HTTP work.
Knowledge of TDD and BDD methodologies and tools to apply them.
Experience of working with cloud services providers – preferably AWS, however Azure or Google Cloud experience is also useful

Technical Skills

5+ Year experience of BDD and TDD within Automation frameworks.
Previous commercial experience working on Java Web application development with Automation (Java Selenium, JMeter)
Experience of Microservices testing tools including Postman and SOAPUI
Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban)
Understanding of a range of programming languages, database concepts.
