Cyber Security & Pen Test Professional

We’ve launched a campaign to invest in and significantly strengthen our IT capability, our service portfolio secured some amazing new talent, but now need to focus on bringing in Cyber Security Experts to make the next phase of our development a success. We’re preparing to work with some high-profile customers on Enterprise IT Security Services and expanding our IT Capability as part of a wider investment and hire Cyber Security and Pen Test Professional to work with our customer project.

Role and Responsibilities:

Client-facing consultative role at a hands-on technical level and you will be working across a number of specialisms including financial services,
Provide Security Risk management, testing and management and project scoping.
Expertise in ethical hacking / pen-testing with strong knowledge around information security principles to advise and work alongside high-profile clients.
A strong technical background in computing, networking and programming will also be required as well as soft skills including communication, organisation and prioritisation.
Create Security Test Plan and execute them, report to executive weekly basis and present the all application vulnerabilities
Ensure all testers achieve and maintain relevant penetration testing qualifications
Exploit development, vulnerability research projects and custom testing tools/script creation is fully encouraged by the company and where needed dedicated time will be allocated for these types of activities
Create new security services when there is sufficient opportunity and scope within the business to do so

Skills Required

Minimum 20 years overall IT experience and 15 years in Enterprise Testing CoE experience across global clients
More than 5 years’ experience in IT Security Domains and worked on Penetration Testing
You must have conducted commercial penetration tests in the past and be able to carry out testing unsupervised
The role requires a mix of external, web app and internal network/infrastructure penetration testing skills and ideally you will specialise in all these areas
Ability to also test wireless, Windows, Linux, cloud environments and mobile applications is desirable though not essential
Able to work within a defined testing methodology and communicate this to customers
Adept at using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Kali etc.
Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Ruby or Python, with demonstrable skill creating exploits and tools
Currently holding valid Cyber Security & Cyber Defence certifications is desirable
Experience leading a team is desirable, however we are open to candidates looking to make the move into management
Must be fluent in English and have a good command of written English
